This is to inform you that on Saturday 26th July 2014, there was an attempt for theft in my flat B-1706, Gardenia Square.

In this attempt the thief was able to broke the lock of the front Iron gate of my flat but luckily the lock internal lever broke and got struck due to which he was not able to open the door.

I had gone to market at around 3 PM on Saturday and when i returned at 10 PM i saw that the iron gate lock was tampered and i was not able to insert the key in key hole. I asked my neighbors whether they have seen someone mishandling with the lock or heard some noise but unfortunately no one was aware of this.

Next day morning i called the professional key maker and got the iron door opened up.

This incident was really shocking for me as i am living in this society for past three years and never felt such a threat earlier regarding the security.

I request you all to join for a meeting in Gardenia Square Club, at 11 AM tomorrow i.e. 29th July 2014 to discuss the security lapses in our society and come up with new ideas to strengthen the security.

I have also invited representative from Gardenia Management team for this meeting.

Also i have few suggestion to improve the security status:-

1) Issue tokens to outsiders at the In time which needs to be returned at gate while exiting. This will ensure In & Out time of visitors.

2) Resident should inform the security once the visitor has left their flat so that security can track the exit of that respective person.
3) Number of guard needs to be reviewed and if required the guards be increased.

4) Guidelines for security operations need to be reviewed and revised.

Please spare some time and attend this meeting as this is a very big concern as if thief are able to know about your absence for few hours and attempt for robbery during that duration. As per my understanding these things are done in a very planned manner with very accurate information source.
