If the tower is installed at ground level, its signal will be weak for high rise. The hight of tower should be more then the hight of receptor . So if a tower is installed on a high rise building, it will solve the problem.

But keeping in mind health hazard of mobile tower, I doubt if anyone of us will like it to be installed on our residential buildings.

The solution would be to get it installed on commercial high rise and till then as a work around, take landline connection and divert your mobile calls to it with option, divert when not available.

With great efforts of CROMA and its associated members,it has been informed that Mobile Signal Towers (at present for Vodafone and Aircel) are getting installed and will be functional by 10:00 PM today.So letus hope that signal problem should not be a very problematic for the residents of Crossing republikas we all are feeling and suffering due to poor connectivity.

These towers are being installed away from dense inhabitant's area i.e. near Gaur City Chowk (Noida Extn.). These towers will cover distance of 2 KM i.e. sufficient for Crossing Republik residents. Similar towers to cover signals properly in Crossings Republik, will be installed at Village Etehda shortly. Follow-ups for Airtel, Idea and other service providers are on war footing and will be concluded soon.They have also requested to contact officials of CROMA if there is any weak signal any where in Crossing.

          We sincerely thanks all concerned members and CROMA for getting done such excellant work for CROSSIANS!
