Last year (Aug. 2011) we had ported from Airtel to Vodafone due to the same problem (Poor network coverage & Roaming charges). Since how long you are using Airtel and hoz ur experiance. Regards R.K.Saxena

To resolve this problem immediately, we also can use Mobile Number Portability. It takes maximum a week's time. Airtel is having very nice network coverage inside Gardenia Square and Crossings. You would find network in the basement as well as in the lifts. I have recently changed to Airtel from Vfone and am having quite nice experience with it. Dear Friends, As we all know that we are facing a very critical problem of signals by telecom service provider (Specially VODAFONE) at our society, even we missed many calls due to lack of signals in our homes/flats. So to get rid of this problem permanently i've asked VODAFONE (through my official-personal contacts) to enhance the signals in our apartment by any mechanism. A step ahead, the person from VODAFONE had done the survey today with Mr. Mishra - facility manager (as most of us was not available during daytime); as per him the signal boosting device is already installed at CROSSINGS but still we are not getting required strength so they will revert back with the solution in a day or two. I am trying to have an antenna installed at one of our tower, in that case we will be having very rich boosted signals even inside of our flats. But we need to have the conscent from the builder to install the device & also the numbers of vodafone users in our society, so please adopt / suggest a method by which we can have the number of Vodafone users in our society.
